Item Status

Items in GoldLeaf (such as hose assemblies, hose kits, sales estimates, or work orders) have statuses.

When you create an item, it will initially have a status of under editing.

In order to use the item elsewhere in GoldLeaf you need to release the item. This marks is as having been reviewed and is ready for use.

⚠️ Warning only admins can unrelease an item, and only if that item hasn't already been used elsewhere.

If a change is required after an item is released, it must be revised instead. A new revision number/letter is required.

If you are trying to add a hose assembly into a hose kit and can't find the hose assembly, it is either for a different customer or it is not yet released.

Obsolete items

When an item has been revised and the new revision is released, all old revisions are automatically marked as obsolete.
